The Heart Compass reading library

Relationships and connection

A reading library for people seeking a relationship, living as a couple or dealing with separation and hurt. Explore attraction, choosing a partner, closeness, boundaries, communication and recurring responses in relationships.

This library is currently being developed.

What will you find here?

Articles by Yossi Medalsi about questions that arise in relationships: whom we are drawn to, why asking is difficult, how distance grows and what stays with us after separation or divorce. Relocation can bring different adjustment speeds, loneliness and changes in shared responsibilities. You can read here even if you are currently single.

Where should you start?

Begin with your situation: looking for a relationship, being in one or dealing with separation and hurt. Choose one question close to your experience. Consider what you want alongside what is painful or missing.

What can you take from reading?

A clearer distinction between what happened, how you interpreted it and how you responded. Reading can help you express a need, a boundary or a question about what comes next, and consider individual or shared work.

How can you move on to work on relationships?

You can choose individual work on what you bring into relationships, or couples coaching. At Heart Compass, couples coaching begins with separate sessions to work on accumulated hurt and personal patterns. Shared sessions follow to develop a relationship vision, communication and agreements.

We work on expressing what you want, keeping boundaries, hearing each other and making choices about the relationship. Each person remains responsible for their actions. In an introductory conversation, we explore what each person wants and which format fits. Sessions are held in Hebrew via Zoom.
