About Yossi Medalsi | Heart Compass

Emotional coaching for people who want to change the patterns that keep showing up in their lives.

I'm Yossi Medalsi, founder of Heart Compass.

I work with people who know something needs to change but keep finding themselves in the same arguments, fears or decisions. Sometimes they can explain exactly what's happening and still feel unable to respond differently when it matters.

My work is rooted in a simple belief: understanding why you react a certain way is valuable, but change becomes real when you can make a different choice in the moment.

How I got here

I didn't take the conventional path into emotional coaching. My own experiences of family change, difficult relationships and major life decisions shaped the questions I bring into the room. I know that being able to explain a pattern doesn't always mean being free of it.

Today I work with adults, couples, parents and teenagers. We look closely at the situations that keep repeating, the emotional responses underneath them and what it takes to build greater confidence in handling life's challenges.

What happens in coaching

At Heart Compass, we work with the beliefs and automatic emotional reactions that can take over before you've had a chance to choose. That may involve exploring earlier experiences, including work with younger parts of yourself, and understanding what a familiar reaction has been trying to protect.

The work is personal and practical. We pay attention to what happens outside our conversations: a boundary you can finally set, a conversation you no longer avoid, or a decision you can make without waiting for fear to disappear.

Working together from abroad

I also work online with Israelis and Hebrew speakers living outside Israel. Living between countries, languages and cultures can bring its own pressures to family life, parenting, relationships and your sense of belonging. Being able to talk about those experiences in Hebrew can make an important difference.

Wherever you live, the goal is to strengthen your ability to face uncertainty, trust yourself and choose how you want to move forward.

If you recognize a pattern in your own life and want to understand what keeps it going, send me a message. Tell me a little about what you would like to change, and we can start there.

Common questions about working with me

Who do you work with?

I coach adults, couples, parents and teenagers. We start with the situation you're facing and look at the emotional reactions and beliefs that make it difficult to move forward.

Can we work together if I live outside Israel?

Yes. Sessions take place online, including for Israelis and Hebrew speakers living abroad. We can talk in Hebrew about the challenges you're facing, wherever you live.

What makes emotional coaching different from simply talking about a problem?

Talking can bring clarity. In coaching we also explore what triggers a recurring reaction, work with the emotions and beliefs behind it, and pay attention to what changes in your decisions and relationships outside the session.

Can you help parents and teenagers?

Yes. I work with teenagers and with parents who want to understand recurring conflict, emotional withdrawal or difficult reactions at home. We agree on a starting point that fits the family and the young person.

Do you use inner child work?

When it fits the person and the pattern we're exploring, we may work with younger parts of the self and the emotional lessons they carry. This is one part of the broader Heart Compass approach.

How can I find out whether coaching is right for me?

Send me a WhatsApp message with a little about what you're dealing with. We can discuss what you want to change and whether the way I work fits your needs.
